Denmark’s Baby In Vain brood on new single Transcendent

They're currently on tour in the UK with Manchester band PINS


The new single from Dane stars Baby In Vain is brooding indie rock at its fretful best.

Transcendent is the femme trio’s first new material of the year, and is released as they start a run of UK dates supporting PINS.

It’s a dark turn for the band, with vocals that dwell in doleful tones, sinister riffs, and refrains that “it’s alright”.

Baby In Vain have been around for a few years, releasing singles and EPs, although as of yet no albums.

They’re working on their debut full-length now, however, and Transcendent suggests that it might just ramp up the intensity above what has come before.
