Dream Wife join Sleigh Bells as support for UK dates

Dream Wife have been announced as the support for Sleigh Bells’ upcoming UK dates.

The fuzzy femmes from Brighton join them at Gorilla in Manchester on 21 February, and Electric Ballroom in London on the 22nd.

The dates are in addition to their upcoming seven-date headline run on the DIY Hello 2017 tour, which starts on Tuesday with a free show in London.

Dream Wife are fronted by Icelander Rakel Mjöll and released one of last year’s best debut EPs, EP01.

Their sound ranges from the chilled to the angsty, the latter firmly on show on their standout track Hey Heartbreaker, above.

Their newest single, FUU, is more in tune with the scuzzy Sleigh Bells sound, with copious amounts of Spice Girls lyrics and erotic themes:

Sleigh Bells themselves perform in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Ireland before the UK dates, following up with a US tour in March.
