New Music: Glass Peaks – Speak And Spell

It's the second single from the hustling Kent newcomers

Speak and Spell is the hustling second single from alt-pop newcomers Glass Peaks.

The Kent band are a rough diamond, but on this and debut Your Eyes they ably demonstrate their penchant for a tune, and their mercurial style and layered sound could well prosper.

Glass Peaks’ indie pop reminds at first of Ireland’s continental hitmakers Walking On Cars, although we’re told their live shows are more raucous, reminiscent of Foals.

The band formally release their new single tomorrow, with a launch show at The Rocksteady in London on Saturday 28 January.
