Nelson Can bring the indie disco again on Move Forward

The Danish ladies preach on their second single since signing to the UK's Alcopop! Records

Nelson Can come out to play with another cut of striking indie disco on latest single Move Forward.

The Danish ladies preach progress (“Even if you can’t run, if you can’t walk, if you can’t crawl, move forward”) atop pulsating drums and puffy bass riffs on the second single of their partnership with the UK’s Alcopop! Records.

It marries perfectly to the first, the indie dancefloor groove Miracle, released in February and included on our playlist of the best singles of 2017 so far.

As part of their relationship with Alcopop! there’s also going to be an EP this year, and while we don’t know the details of that just yet, we expect it’ll be announced soon.

Until now, Nelson Can were best-known for early single Apple Pie, released back in 2012, and 2014 album Now Is Your Time To Deliver.

The trio notably don’t use guitars – except for bass, of course – combining elements of indie and post-punk with the good fun of disco.

Nelson Can have announced a five-date tour in Denmark in October, but there’s no news on UK performances just yet.
