Ride have released another new song, the dreamier Home Is A Feeling

Just 24 hours after the release of their comeback single, Ride have revealed another track from their new album.

Home Is A Feeling is a slacker, dreamier track that will please fans of classic Ride concerned they’d dropped their shoegaze credentials entirely.

In notable contrast to first single Charm Assault, many of their most iconic elements are there, and Mark Gardener’s vocals are altogether more familiar.

Mark describes Home Is A Feeling as “a slow, widescreen, sonically layered, slowed motion warm wash”.

The second track in a day comes after a break of 15 years since their last material, the Coming Up For Air EP in 2002.

Their new album – their first full-length since 1996 – will be released this summer on Wichita, although we don’t know exact dates just yet.

Ride toured the UK in 2015, playing their seminal Nowhere album in full.

Ride are playing dates in Belfast and Dublin in March, and have been announced for this year’s BBC 6 Music Festival in Glasgow.
