Even If It’s a Lie (I Don’t Mind) is the latest in a strong run of dream pop singles from Norway’s Yndling, and the final reveal ahead of next month’s half-album drop.
The new track is a lustrous, melodic blend of Silje Espevik’s lush vocals with woozy reverb and swirling drums, resulting in a modern dream pop sound with a more classic feel than the likes of Hatchie.
Yndling’s previous two singles As Fast As I Can and It’s Almost Like You’re Here are equally stellar and indicate that her album could be one of the genre’s best of the year.
Say I’m all you need
Even if it’s a lie, I don’t mind
Beed to hear it one more time
I won’t hold you to it, it’s alright
The first part of the album is set for release via Spirit Goth Records on June 6th, titled (I’m in the Palm of Your Hand).
