Laundromat Chicks released their third album in January and have now popped back up with this bittersweet jangle pop single.

Want Some Air is a stirring, nostalgia-tinged track with more lo-fi production than the Viennese band’s most recent album, and a significant change on the microphone as guitarist Theresa Strohmer takes over on lead vocals from Tobias Hammermüller.

The resulting sound is similar in vibe to Holiday Ghosts or even early Alvvays.

Laundromat Chicks are about to embark on a short run of European dates, including a gig at The Windmill in London and dates in Southampton, Nottingham, Manchester and Brighton (at The Great Escape).
