Hull band ROTHCO have released the second track from their upcoming debut EP.

The fivesome’s latest single Coming in Hot is a punchy post-punk track with psychedelic influences that clocks in at under two minutes and bears more than a passing similarity to Saloon Dion’s recent track Big Minnie.

Debut single Fools Gold – no relation to The Stone Roses song – had a more classic post-punk feel.

ROTHCO’s debut EP releases in June 6th, also titled Fools Gold, with a number of gigs and small festival appearances on the way as well.

The band are comprised of Carlos Macklin, Charlie Morill, Ciaran Hall, Joshie Ingham and Mike Blowman.

They’ve previously been members of a number of projects including psychedelic rock band The Black Delta Movement, for who Macklin played drums.
