The band affectionately known as The Biths are back and is it with one of the singles of the year?
Possibly maybe. Metal sees the band going all-out jangle pop with beautiful guitar tones and a lush arrangement that builds on the sound of Expert in a Dying Field with aplomb.
Alvvays have been the standard-bearers for this brand of indie rock for over a decade, but it seems like The Beths might be ready to be right up there with them.

The New Zealanders have just signed to Epitaph Records subsidiary ANTI-, a big-hitting label who’ve previously released material by Tom Waits, Elliott Smith and MJ Lenderman.
There’s no news on their new album as yet, but the band do have a slew of dates coming up in the UK, Europe and North America, supported by the likes of Phoebe Rings and Squirrel Flower.
